Nicola and Graham take final trophy of the season

Nicola and Graham Barton each picked up their second trophies of the summer as they swept all before them in the Terry Gasson Trophy.

In what was our final competition of the season, they won all four of their Australian pairs matches to take the trophy by 12 points from their nearest rivals.

It was especially sweet for Nicola, who has been runner-up in this competition in three of the past four years. 

She was also part of the triples team that won the Carrow Cup a few weeks ago, while Graham collected the David Johns Trophy in May, alongside Robin Parris and Elsie Wilding.

Elsie had to settle for runner-up this time, finishing 12 points behind the winners, with partner Neville.
